Doubt that’s gonna happen but hey who knows. Who wouldn’t flip a 9k watch for a 26k watch

Update: ended up getting this Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Calendar for $13,600. I couldn’t be any happier with this watch. This is my first Reverso and I got to keep the Pepsi. This is a lot of watch for that price.

When it comes to a moonphase complication the Cellini is a no go for me...go to JLC, GO...

At that price point I’d be looking at a PP Calatrava or the ALS Saxonia Moonphase

I would seriously consider Jaeger-Lecoultre for a moon Phase, they are a superb watch company, I've owned two. I recently retired and after 6 months of my JLC Reverso Grand Sun Moon sitting in my safe, I sold it.

I missed it although I knew it would hardly get wear now as I'm not in suits and wear sport watches mainly.

It is at my Jewellers in Grimsby Ontario, have a look.

I don't have 10 posts yet, so the link won't work, but look up Harmony Jewellers in Grimsby and you can see my Reverso.

Im still at the fence. Cant justify the 24k either. Wonder if the second hand market will be better discounted.

Personally not a fan of the Rolex Cellini.
The new omega speedie moonphase is the one to beat.

Would you do an even trade Sky Blue for a Cellini moonphase?

If you flip the Pepsi, you’ll make $7k and the. The Moonphase with you offered discount would be $14k no tax!

Hi guys, I’m actually selling my Cellini Moonphase. Brand new, purchased this August from Rolex Boutique in Miami. Selling it at a discount, if anyone is interested please PM me for details.

Sounds scarce and rare because buyers are scarce and rare. If someone can get 20-25% off on a PM piece like a DD I would think you could at least match that.

It's always funny to see people responding to old posts in a thread instead of actual recent discussion.

Yeah, I don't see the Cellini moonphase ever becoming a rare and expensive piece. Rolex has been making Cellinis for awhile, and they remain nicely inexpensive on the used market. Plus, it seems like every AD has one of these guys sitting unbought in the window. I do think it's really pretty, but at that price I'd personally pay less for a rose gold PML and be much happier with it.
