Patek in Vegas

I’m heading to Vegas soon and aiming to try on a variety of Patek dress watches to hopefully compare and make a long awaited decision on which to purchase.

What shops should I visit? (Also interested in excellent experiences browsing Lange, AP, VC, Rolex)

Haven’t been to Vegas in awhile but the shop at Wynn is a favorite.

Don't hold your breath, most models that you really want to own/try on won't probably be in stock. Sorry, just trying to set expectations correctly.

No worries. I already have a 5711. In my experience, ADs in the US are well stocked with Calatravas and Calendars, which is what I’m after.

One of the reasons I stay at The Wynn. Sad that they lost VC as I would have liked to compare some Calatravas to Patrimonys side by side.

Where else? I hear that there is an AP boutique at Crystal?

In my experience the bellagio boutique has had a better PP selection.

Thanks but that store no longer carries Patek. I can’t remember the name (it’s something Italian sounding) and it never was a boutique either. It also carried Rolex (and continues to do so).

Tesorini! That’s what it’s called. Sadly, no more Patek. I heard that their loss of Patek was making room for a Patek-only store somewhere in town. But I haven’t heard anymore about it.

The Wynn staff has never impressed me. I think the best place is in The Forum Shops at Tourneau. That store gets a lot of bad reviews in general, but if I were to buy a Patek in Vegas, it would be from them. I’ve always had a better “looking” experience from that store.

Tourneu has a 5170p been there for like 5 months

But they have a few ladies nautilus that just arrived few weeks ago.

Edit. I meant 5724 g. And 7014/1r for ladies and 7118 gold with white face 1200-001

Tons of Calatravas, annual calendars, 5170s, perpetual calendars, random preowned pieces mixed in with new. Tons of ladies stuff. Wear anything PP that's hard to get in the store, you'll likely get the cold shoulder since they know you already have a relationship built with another AD.

Good to know. Thanks!

Is it all pre-owned? I’m not aware that they are a PP AD ...

My mistake. Watches Of Switzerland at The Wynn definitely still carries VC.

In my experience with the PP dealer at the Wynn, absolutely useless, rude and uninterested.

This ^^. I go to vegas quarterly and always stop by the watch shops. I've work a Rolex, Patek, and AP there and get the same cold response. Only one I'd deal with is Tourneau (or WoS now)

Patek in Vegas

I found the staff at Watches of Switzerland @The Wynn, & Tourneau at The Forum Shops @Caesar’s Palace to all be excellent on this and all of my previous visits. Maybe it helps to be wearing a Patek... Also nice if you want to compare some Pateks and VC side-by-side as both are available at Watches of Switzerland.

I do find the staff at Tourneau to be slightly more knowledgeable and considerably less pushy. Steve Traub is a gentleman and a true Patek ambassador. I met Pamela for the first time this weekend and she was also very kind and helpful.

The Tourbillon Boutique is a waste of time if one is looking for Pateks. (Maybe if you’re into Breguet, but then, there is a Breguet Boutique at The Bellagio). However, Crystal mall will soon be getting a Patek-only AD (and a Rolex-only AD next door). Viva Las Vegas!

Between both Vegas Patek ADs right now, you can pretty much see all of the recent variants of the 5170 (including the p with blue dial). Whoa.
