Rolex AD in Naples

Am currently on holiday in Naples, Italy. Headed down to one of the ADs here and they had (to my surprise, as a Brit):

214270 Explorer
114060 Sub no date
216570 black dial Explorer II
116753 steel and gold GMT-II
and most surprisingly to me, a Black Bay 58.

I tried to talk to the assistant there but unfortunately my Italian is not up to scratch (nor was his English).

Tried the 58 for a second time and loved the balance. Still not sure about how small it is for a Tudor.

In other news, my BB GMT has been delivered and I’ve gotta wait as I’m on holiday!

114060 sitting there? Definitely available?
That’s a great result, although not sure how the price converts back to GBP.

Yup, available to purchase!

Price is €6950. Interestingly, for the 58, it’s €3400; works out at roughly £3000 compared to the £2560 list price!

Going to check the other AD when I get a chance... perhaps that’s true.

One other thing I noticed were a couple of Yacht-Master and YMII models, as well as a white two tone Sky-Dweller. Refreshing to see so many of the sports models.

Yes...Monetti always have good inventory...got my SD43 last year. Better go in while the owner Ms Monetti is in store....she's really nice person to talk with. Very knowledgeable abt Napoli, Amalfi, etc. One very important advise is not to wear any Rolex if you want to walk around in city centre.

Erring on the side of safety, I’ve gone all-Japanese for this trip...
