I’d say blue stick dial easily. Not sure in the bracelet though.

I can't speak for others, but I really like the "old man" combo of champagne stick dial on two-tone, fluted bezel, with Jubilee. It looks like something my grandfather would have worn had he been inclined to spend that kind of money on watches (which he wasn't), but that's what I like about it. To me, it looks like the archetypal Rolex, perhaps more than any other model, including the Sub.

I have to agree the blue dial is the hot one but l like mine. I wouldnt mind having two of these adding a silver dial version.

Not sure if there’s a most popular. I like most combinations. Here’s mine. White dial, fluted, jubilee

There are generally two camps to this question:
Either 1) blue dial: fluted or smooth does not matter, SS or WG TT combination Or 2) your grandfather's watch: champagne dial(most classic) or other plain dial, such as white or black, on a fluted bezel, TT YG combination |

I had the DJ2 Wimbledon dial and I found it hard to read.
I now have a DJ2, blue, indexes, fluted bezel, oyster bracelet. Jubilee was not offered then. |

I wonder what the actual sales numbers are for the DJs. Guess it’s top secret.

126334 blue on jubilee is probably the most popular. Blue wins people over.

There have been quite a few posts recently about this, including ADs telling customers that they will have to wait for a blue dial, almost unheard of with DJ41s, but it shows how popular it is.
It's the closest thing to SS Sports watch without being a sports watch if you get my drift. My Blue DJ41 currently gets more wrist time than my 116500LN, plus its easier to read. DJ41.jpg |

I fully agree with the previous post. I picked up the exact same combination this week for the exact same reason. Sporty, but not a sports model. I think it can also dress up nicely.
I picked mine up in Aruba for a nice savings. Slightly lower list price, small discount, no sales tax and rolled the dice and did not claim at customs. A total of $1,000 savings. I had to go to a local AD for an additional link. They had VERY little stock. Not a single DJ 41 and only one SS sports model, a smaller white explorer II. and two milliguas. |

THE most recognized Rolex IMO also. It now almost has a retro look and feel to it...
