DJ 41 blue stick with jubilee can you wear with casual clothes

I am thinking of getting rid of my Sub C, but I want to keep a Rolex in the new collection.

I used to have a DJ II Blue Roman and it was nice but I really liked the stick dial and it was a mistake to buy the blue Roman.

Anyway I have had my eye on the DJ 41 blue stick and thinking maybe go with the jubilee bracelet vs oyster. It looks cool but I am concerned how formal is it? I dress pretty casual for work jeans and a polo. I rarely ever wear a suit anymore. Will it be ok jeans and a tee or shorts and a tee?

The possible ultimate goal is the following...

Sell the Sub C
Get a DJ 41 blue stick dial
Get a Panerai Luminor base(used to have a Pam 1940 and regret selling a little but I want crown guard now)

I would then need to add a little cash but not as much as as keeping the sub and getting the Pam.

I think it’s versatile enough to wear with jeans. I would wear it that way.

100%. You can do DJ jubilee with jeans and a polo all day. The watch will dress up or down no problem

I have one and I’m not a fan of it for casual looks. The fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet makes it seem better for button up shirts, blazers or suits. I’ve worn it casually but I prefer to wear my Sub C for casual use.

Great watch. Another favorite blue face/jubilee. IMO, It will go well dressed up or down. A black croc strap would look great with suits to tone it down if need be.

That seems like a no brainer to me. I choose the smooth bezel on oyster but you can't go wrong with any choice. Yes, versitle is the word for the DJ41

You can, but if you're going to be self-conscious about it, then you shouldn't.

Works perfectly with a suit, shorts & t-shirt and even nude Probably only in a divers setting or action sports that it would be misplaced p

Works fine, wore mine two weeks ago on holiday Maspalomas.
Saw a lot of Rolex watches, mostly Subs, wearing by other hotel guests but besides mine I did not see a DJ41.

I dress casually. DJ41 smooth/oyster. Felt that Jubilee is slightly dressier hence my choice. Do what you wish

I would doubt if any watch would know or care whatever you was wearing its a watch and watches are meant to be worn.

It would work but I would keep the Submariner and figure out how to get one without the loss of the diver.

I think the short answer is yes.

There are guys on here who rock PM DD's, Daytona's and everything else you can think of, while barely ever wearing anything other than shorts and T shirts.

Its a watch ... it will go with whatever you wear.

I had the same thoughts/question about the fluted bezel....these aren’t the jubilee, but you get the idea. So glad I went with my decision to say...absolutely no problem wearing fluted bezel casually.....wouldn’t have it any other way now! Cheers, and enjoy the DJ...it’s gorgeous with jubilee/fluted!

DJ will work fine. But curious why the Sub doesn’t work for you, considering your casual attire.

I think how a watch looks is based on how the person wearing it carries themselves.

Its all about how comfortable you feel.

I’ve worn my dj36 fluted with jubilee casually and sometimes even with scrubs for work. I’ll admit the dj looks best dressed up with a suit but sometimes I just feel like wearing it casually and nothing wrong with that also.
