How About One of These for Valentine's Day?

Why not buy your wife/significant other one of these for Valentine's Day!

If you have to give it, give it on any other day but Valentines Day.

I've found that this day has become a day of entitlement for women. It's expected generosity which is not only oxymoronic, it's moronic.

For Valentines Day, I suggest you telling your wife that you love her.

If she's still ticked off. You've got bigger problems and a watch won't help that.

Leave the big gift giving for one of the other many gift giving holidays we have these days.

Buck the trend and turn your back on this Hallmark created holiday. I for one would like to see it put to an end.

Good luck.

The rose or the Rolex?

Call me selfish but the Rolex is more of a 75th Wedding Anniversary item.

Of course, I'm not married so... we'll see how long that idea would last when I am.

At our house, VD (tee hee) is really for the kids. When you've got little kids in school, it's all about the party and sending a bag of Valentines and treats. They come home on a sugar high.

X2

Stopped by BB yesterday to pick up a strap (a small croc, not the large strap recently pictured, I can't really walk through a mall with that one ) looked at a few Rollies, the dweller that's been gathering dust was gone and a new LV in it's place. (Second LV I've seen in a display at an AD...)

Anyway Roxanne has the AD show her a +2 carat SI1 and says something like "Honey, isn't this pretty?" hinting about valentines day...

My comment: That's a new Harley with a power up out the door

Thanks for the comps on the pictures guys - and for the record - I do understand that some guys don't like Valentine's Day. It is not a special day in my household - I just liked the roses with the YM.

Don't worry about us DesertDog, we're all a bunch of malakas with overly dry sense of humor.

Again nice photos

As a woman.....

I don't want roses! I want fast cars (12 sec in the 1/4 mile or faster) and Rolex watches with diamonds or even just diamonds (good quality of course).

My problem is, that my husband the "car nut" would rather buy me a 90 K car than a 10 K Rolex....hehehehehe!

It took me 15 years to squeeze a Rolex out of him, never mind I paid for the watch and my two cars

And I tried to get him a nice Rolex Sub, but he didn't want it, he wants more cars or parts or tools.

My wife would rather have a new pair of shoes than a Rolex.
