44mm chrono movement reliability

Hi all I have a 44mm panda chrono that’s less than 3 years old and already needs a service. I was planning to service it but I’ve been hearing about chronic issues with the 44mm chrono movements. Trying to decide if I should service it or cut my losses and move on. What have your experiences been with these models and servicing them? Are they more reliable after service or will they always have issues? My diver has been fairly worry free and accurate (as long as I don’t move my arm too fast to shock the movement ).
