1993 14060 Submariner non date, X serial, original owner, all papers, box, etc

This is my 1993 Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual, s/n X565782.

I am the first and only owner of this 14060 non-date 40mm Rolex Submariner Oyster Perpetual. Not an M-prefix! Please see photos of my original sales receipt dated December 1993. I bought this because my father has a Rolex he purchased in Switzerland decades ago. I remember growing up, how he'd take the Rolex from his bedside stand and wind it every morning. And it just ran. Hiking, working, traveling, he wore it everywhere. And over time I wanted something of similar quality, that just works. I realized that if a car ran half as reliably as a Rolex, it too would be worth the premium. Instead I bought this Rolex and have owned it for 27 years. This Rolex is of course a self-winding model and runs beautifully.

You can see photos of me--feel free to laugh--over the years wearing the Submariner.

I have had it cleaned and adjusted twice. Once in Seattle in the early 2000s at Nesbits, and the other in 2017 at Joyeria Marcos in Málaga, Spain where I lived for two years. Both are respected and authorized Rolex sales and repair companies.

I have everything it came with--boxes, anchor, serial number tag, cleaning cloth, two extra links and extra pin, several manuals, warranty card with serial on it, and original sales receipt. The "pillow" it originally sat on has some cracking to the top layer of material and it is flaking, stained and peeling. See photos. Original box has a sticker "SS03ROL0243" on it and has scuffs and wear, especially on the edges--see photos. Inner box has a slight dimple in the top and slight wear inside. The clasp bracelet has "501B" and "93150" markings.

See photos which constitute a major part of the description.

It has been a daily worn item since purchase and overall it is excellent. Why am I parting with it? I'm moving on. No kids to gift it to, and other interests to focus on. It has given me a lot of joy over the years. It is a solid, classic early 14060 X-serial Submariner Oyster Perpetual with the classic lugs.

$6500 via wire. Ships via UPS with signature required.

Thank you. Cheers,--Dave
