Back from Omega Service

After my father passed away my mother gave me both his Rolex Sub, and his Omega Seamaster. The Seamaster was a gift to him from my mother and he had the case back engraved with our birthday's and the date my mother gave him the watch 12-25-68.
It had never been serviced, so I very reluctantly parted with it and sent it to Omega in February. They said due to the age it had to go to Switzerland for service.
Then COVID struck and of course everything was delayed, so just came in the mail today.
I think it looks great and I'm just so happy to have it back safe and in good working order.
My dad would have really gotten a kick out of the process and it made me miss him today...
