Rare Find! Louis Moinet Mecanograph, 18kt Qatar Meteorite Limited Edition

If you like a timepiece with heritage, look no further! Louis Moinet worked with Breguet for about 12 years in the early 1800's, and is widely known as the inventor of the chronograph. In addition to this achievement, he made several beautiful clocks for world leaders during his time, and one of those clocks still resides at the White House as a historical artifact that cannot be removed.

In this timepiece, Moinet's penchant for beauty and horological style are carried on. The wide domed crystal allows for clear viewing of the detail in the movment and the intricately engraved dial.

Unlike the traditional Mecanograph, this variant is cased entirely in 18k gold, and displays the Qatar skyline on the dial. Set in the deep black sky is a piece of the meteorite Qatar-001, the only meteorite to be found in the region.
