Watch Shells scratch protection

Since getting my ROO back serviced and polished I decided to try watch shells to help protect from scratches.
I do have a lot of wrist awareness and look after my watches so am not bothered about protecting the case sides and lugs even though the protectors come in the kit.
I applied the bezel protector last week and really it is virtually invisible.
I know many people are against these things and I have never used anything like it before but makes sense to me to protect the bezel and keep it looking mint in my opinion
