Modern J/R/G gold alloys behavior over time

I read that Rolex is investing heavily with its gold alloys so that the watches keep their original color over time and also have "great" mechanical characteristics (hardness).

Yellow, white and rose gold of Rolex watches tend to handle acid skins, skin creams, abrasion, oxydation, etc. very well.

What is your experience with your "modern" J, R or G Patek regarding color and abrasion/denting?
