Gift for my father: Longines vs Tag Hauer?

My father is turning 60 this year and I am planning to gift him a watch.

I was thinking between Tag Heuer Carrera or Longines Spirit but I can't decide. I don't know much about these brands.

My dad owns a basic Seiko diver watch and Hamilton watch (I believe I saw those two). Nothing super expensive or fancy. which one do you like better? Note that my dad has normal size wrist so I am not sure if he can pull 40+ watches well.

My budget is around $3,000 and I prefer two-tone (if it fits in my budget) if you have any other recs!
