Did Rolex Make 40-41mm OP or DJ Decades Ago?

Did Rolex Make 40-41mm OP or DJ Decades Ago? I’m looking at getting into the vintage Rolex game. Don’t want to break the bank (do those two things go together?) and am looking for stainless steel models. Did Rolex do anything like this in the past? Any linen dials or other unique dials? There are a bunch of 36mm easy to find, but those don’t fit my wrist well. My idea is to get a nice, 40-41mm vintage OP or DJ and source a nice leather strap for it. I think that would look just lovely.

Any help, guidance, reference numbers, or examples would be very much appreciated.
