FS: Rolex Explorer I 1016

Offering for sale this extra-ordinary Rolex Explorer I. Model reference 1016, 36mm stainless steel case, in unpolished condition and showing normal signs of wear throughout with no significant markings. The "Swiss T 25" matte dial is in excellent overall condition, only the slightest patina at the base of the hands, and the lume is clean.
Th lug width is 20mm, and fitted with a Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelet with appropriate numbers on backside, clasp, and end links. It has an automatic winding chronometer certified calibre by Rolex.

Originally purchased in 1972, this watch runs well, looks amazing, and comes with the original set of paperwork. It includes booklets, pamphlets regarding the expedition, serial number warranty book, chronometer certification, folder and the original sales receipt.
