Incoming!!!

Now! It all starts 10 years ago after I walk in to my local AD on my 21st birthday. My Mum and I walk into our AD and meet (by sheer luck) the most wonderful retail assistant one could ask for. I buy my first watch (with help from my parents) on my 21st birthday, a Datejust II.

Fast forward to this weekend, I have had many watches from my SA, a Hulk, Pepsi, Sub to name a few but I’ve always been after a White face Daytona. On Sunday, I have the whole family round my house, Niece, Nephew, Sister, Mum, Dad, Fiancé and Daughter. My phone rings and it’s my SA. She says

‘Can you get here within 2 hours’
‘Why’ I ask
Because if you can, I have a white face Daytona with your name on it!

Lo and behold, I tell my family as I’m shaking with excitement. My family all insist on coming! Within 90 minutes, I was in my AD with my family, in a specific VIP section sipping Champagne, Beer and apple juice for the juniors and finally got my grail watch! It was so special having the call with my family all around me and even better with us all having a laugh with our SA in the room for near enough 2 hours.
