Mini-landscaping project

A couple weeks back, we had sustained temperatures of about 29 degrees for about 4 or 5 hours. It pretty much killed everything in my front flower bed.

This morning I pulled everything out, and replaced them with plants that can handle freezing weather. I also put some new mulch down.

I used to pay people to do this kind of work. But I feel like they never did a good job with plant selection. So, I decided to do some research and do it myself.

The red plants will get bigger. About 3 feet tall by 4 feet. The green plants will sprout blue flowers. Both will look great all year. They won’t turn brown in January and die.
