-10 s /day on a brand new 104

Hi there. Finally got a pam. Wanted one for like 2 years. 104 was my first choice two years ago. But what I really want lately was the 312. Since the AD didn't have the 312 and the 104's price was right, 104 is sitting on my wrist as I type. The COSC certificate states the variation on the watch is like +/-1.4to3 sec. / day. My first day of use already showing a -10s. Is this normal? Do I need a breaking period? Thanks for the responses
