Why do you think Rolex would wanna ditch 'cobalt' blue and go with the smurf blue?

Just was wondering, why would Rolex want to ditch that 'cobalt' blue seen on the 16613 and go with the 'smurf' blue? Would you do that as a manufacturer? From an aesthetique point of view, the 'cobalt' blue looks way better than the 'smurf' blue seen on the WG Sub and TT Sub Ceramic. From a technical stand point. Why do you think Rolex wanna do that?
