SOLD! - Mint LNIB Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846
SOLD. Thanks Randy and TRF! A Ulysse Nardin Freak (pun clearly intended) found the watch he was looking for.
Ulysse Nardin Marine Chronometer 1846 in mint “like new in box” 98% condition. Based on my examination it is difficult to tell that it was worn; there is not a mark on this watch, micro swirls from shirt rubbing on the bracelet. This is the new style with round date window and Ulysses Nardin on clasp vice anchor. The 38mm diameter watch wears large as it is all dial. All links, boxes, chrono certificate, date on warranty card is March 2009. The box and accessories that come with the watch are as incredible as the watch. Well within COSC accuracy standards. Everything is as it should be. Ulysse Nardin is known for their horology history for accuracy, incredible porcelain dials, and ship clocks used for navigation of the seas. This watch has an incredible white porcelain enamel dial. On the back is inscribed the awards Ulysse Nardin won for accuracy standards back in the day. Since it was important for the ship clocks to remain wound a power reserve indicator was on the clock. The face of the Marine Chronometer 1846 reflects what the original ship clocks looked like with the exception of Roman vice Arabic numerals. This is a three’ fer from a watch idiot savant (WIS) standpoint, that captures the best of Ulysse Nardin in a stunning yet elegant sport watch. I will throw in a like new black HR genuine alligator black leather strap. $3,000 shipped CONUS via wire transfer. Paypal + fees. International shipping varies by location, so ask. Trades of quality watches considered. Many, many references. Face to face deal welcome in the Puget Sound area. |
