Panerai Historic Questions

Guys, recently PAM started to smile at me
Probably like most of entry level Paneristis, I'm narrowing my search to the Historic models 000, 005, 111 and 112. Questions I have:

1. Movement
000 use Panerai OP I
005 Panerai OP II
111 Panerai OP XI
112 Panerai OP X
What's the pros and cons?

2. Dial
If I see it right Luminor Base (000 and 112) seems to use painted dial whilst Luminor Marina (005 and 111) sandwich dial.
What's the purpose and how you guys see and like them?

3. Lum Base is non COSC whilst Lum Marina is COSC. Other than costing a few hundred bucks is it so important in this Paneria world

4. They are all hand-wound. I know other model like 312 is automatic. I'm used to automatic watches so this seems "old fashioned"?

Thanks a bunch!
