Minor Scratch on the side

Hi,

I have had my watch for about 3 years, and recently I dropped it causing a tiny scratch on the side. It is not indented and is literally only a surface scratch, probably only removing some of the polish. I was wondering what would be the best way to remove it. I live close to NY, and would be able to bring it to the service center there (which I have been told shaves a couple days off of your waiting time). Besides that, I am hoping that there would be a better way than having to send the watch by snailmail and waiting 5-6 weeks. Thanks for any help you could provide.
