Silly to be sad?

So the day has come that I did not think I would ever see.

I bought my grail watch before I got married 4 years ago. Now it is in the process of being sold. Selling to a fellow Forum member so it will go to a good home for sure.

But I bought this watch new from an AD with the intention to keep it forever. Even special ordered it from Rolex directly.

But looking at buying a house and raising $ for a down payment. I could have sold some investments to obtain $ for a down, but in many ways I wanted to show my wife that I value "us" and the family more than I do my watches. It is a gesture to show her that our future is more important than anything else.

Need to sell out townhouse too, but that is a different post altogether.

So boxed up this watch last night. And was a liitle sad to think about letting this go. But at the same time I am keeping my eyes on the goal of a house.

So it it silly to be sad about this?
