In some cases the dial is a little off.

This is most common if the rehaut or date is "looks" a little off.

Usually this means the dial was placed in a mm or so to the left or right.

I usually learn to live with it because having these pieces opened up for a 1mm adjustment is not worth it.

Just make a note that when you send it for the 5 year service etc, to correct this when the dial is re-installed. No big deal.
