Advice on buying 1675 GMT, good or bad deal?
Guys, a deal has come up from a private seller to buy a GMT 1675 18K/SS for $3500. He originally wanted $5000 some months back. No box, papers or any other goodies. Recently serviced. He says its about a mid 80's model.
Now, I dont know much about these and its not one of my favourites, but Id be interested in buying it to sell on and make a few bucks. Someone who's hot on pricing would know this Im sure, I only really know rough prices on stuff from the last decade or so. Prices on the Bay are all over the place, same as on Chrono24, so not sure whether to pull the trigger on this one or not!? The pics are horrible, really sorry!!! Its an old fellow that sent them to me through his Whatsapp, doesn't have a computer can you believe! He only lives 50 miles down the road, so its not a problem for me to check it out if you think it might be worth it. Any advice on what you think this would retail for and if its worth bying would be really appreciated. P.S. Shouldnt the bezel insert numbers on these be gold? they seem to be white/silver? Thanks to all! |
