Stay Classy San Diego
So I'm not a really a dress watch kinda guy, but in an attempt to round out my collection and add a dressier watch to my rotation, I've finally decided that the DJII would fit that bill pefectly! I couldn't resist going a bit sporty with the arabic numerals though, plus it reminds me of the arabic Daytona dial which I love. My grandfather gave me his never-worn 1985 DJ before he passed away and though it's a gorgeous watch, at 36mm and being two-tone (which I just can't pull off), it's still a safe queen for me. I feel like this is a nice tribute to his watch and I will think of him each time I wear it.
Love the size of this piece on the wrist, plus the bi-color lume is a nice surprise (I thought it was all blue!), and the fluted gold bezel just makes it pop. Hopefully I'll get around to posting a full photo review soon, but until then I'll just be a tease!
