Watch for a nine year old?
My nine year old came down today and held out his moms 18k ladies president and said "can you make the band smaller?"
I love the fact that he is interested in watches, so we jumped on line and started looking. Can you say sensory overload? I'm looking for a 27mm-35mm watch with an automatic movement, we spent some time looking at Seiko 5's. Is there a better option or just go with the Seiko. Based on his size a ladies watch makes the most sense but do you have any idea how many watches are available on the net, tons. This isn't a huge expense but I would like to find a watch that if he doesn't loose it could be in his jewelry box thirty years from now when he has a child of his own to say, my daddy bought me this when I was nine and it still works...... I have over twenty five watches to hand down so this isn't about birth year, or making him look like a spoiled brat at school. I want to buy him a Chevy, Renault, Fiat that will last him a life time in the sense that it's worth keeping. I don't care that it is the best, he will get that in do time. I want a decent auto with a chance to be passed on. Thanks all.
