A Lazy But Exciting Incoming that might make you Green with Envy
Great News, Hulk Incoming!!
I say lazy because I just took one picture and did not do the whole song and dance of unpacking and revealing... Tomorrow I will share more pics in better lighting! I went to pick it up today and I have to say I am loving it already. After owning a Smurf for almost a year, it is nice once again having a comfortable but yet stunning Rolex SubC. It's hard to say anything negative about my now lost Smurf, it was a 10 month love affair and I have no regrets. My small wrist just was not happy with how things were going. But exactly 21 days later, I am reacquainted with a new Sub, one I have never had before. I have owned 2 SS, 2 TT and a WG, now I am back to SS, but with a beauty that rivals the WG. The brushed center links are nice as is the lighter weight, but what has me won over and constantly looking at the time is that Rolex "Green Gold" dial. Oh man I love how it dances in the light. Only the PP 5711 dial I owned briefly played with light so wonderfully. This is a bona fide beater and tool watch for the ages. At home in any terrain and any condition, which can surprisingly get cleaned up and dress up nicely as well. Although I am looking to upgrade my collection, there is no way I can be without my most favorite Rolex - The Oyster Perpetual Submariner ![]() ![]() |
