Timepiece for Casual Wear.
So if you had a 14060M and were looking for another watch to share wrist time for those occasions you're in jeans - what would you look to acquire and why? Let's set a budget of $10K.
My thoughts: PAM 422 - iconic Panerai. Pros: 47mm, domed sapphire crystal, in-house movement, exposed case back, power reserve indicator on back, seconds reset function, hand wound with 3 day reserve 116710BLNR - Rolex GMTs are also iconic. date window with cyclops, dual time is useful Overall I think having something a little different like the PAM makes more sense but is 47mm too big to wear in a polo shirt? I really do like the GMT and it would be nice to have date and dual time for travel - those are useful complications. ![]() |
