FS:16613 T serial TT Submariner- Great Condition

I have a Rolex 18kt/SS Submariner 16613 T serial number I have owned for about a year that I would like to sell. Even though the watch was 10 years old when I got it, I believe that I was the second owner. It was absolutely perfect. It still had the hologram on the back but I soon removed it. Since I wasn’t sure of it’s maintenance history, I had a full service done by my local watchmaker, who is Swiss born and trained, and he declared it to be in perfect condition. The last time I checked the time it gained about 2 seconds in 30 days. As you might expect, the lume is mostly gone, but it does shine dimly for a while at lights out. I had my watchmaker polish it last week and I would say that the watch is in 98% condition, only because it has a couple of light scratches mostly on the clasp and bracelet. When taking pictures I found a light scratch on the bezel that you have to hold just right in the light to see. About the same that you would see after a couple of weeks of daily wear if you bought it new. The bracelet has no stretch.

This watch has shared double duty with my SS GMT II, but I would like to free up some money for another, as yet unseen, toy.

It comes with the inner and outer boxes, original paperwork signed by the previous owner, booklets and anchor tag.

I believe that this watch will retail for $9300 in the US. I will sell this watch for $4500 to anyone residing in the US. Shipping will be via USPS Registered Mail for the actual cost of shipping--usually less than $50. I prefer payment by bank check or wire transfer. I also welcome anyone near central Mississippi to stop by and pick it up. Also, I will not consider selling to Nigeria--even if you are royalty.

I haven’t learned the knack of watch photography, but here are a few shots. PM any questions to John. Thanks, TRF.
