How tight is your super jubilee bracelet?
So after 6 years with my 16710 Pepsi, I finally decided to acquire a super jubilee bracelet (63600) and attached it. I do feel like it dresses up the watch a little bit. Anyway, as it does not have the Easylink or clasp microadjustments, I was wondering how tight or loose those of you with a super jubilee wear your bracelet?
I haven't had to make any adjustments yet on the bracelet. It can slide it up and down over the protruding bone on my wrist, but I am not able to rotate the watch 180 degrees around my wrist. It is a little looser than I am accustomed to wearing my other Rolex watches (which are all Oyster bracelets). Just trying to figure out whether it is worth the trouble to take a link out. It is certainly nicer if I don't have to mess with bracelet and keep all the links together. On the other hand, I have heard tight is better to prevent stretch on the jubilee bracelets. I've read maybe good to leave a little loose in case wrist expands through out day since cannot adjust bracelet, but I don't know if my bracelet is too loose. I've attached three pics if helpful: - Pic of watch with the super jubilee - Pic of wrist space when hand clenched - Pic of wrist space when fingers are spread apart Edit: I added a fourth pic to give a better sense of the wrist space when hand is clenched in a fist.
