Wifey and I attended a wonderful dinner last night with a group of wine aficionado friends. 80 day dry aged Prime grade ribeyes, braised short ribs, perfectly executed sides of potatoes, garlic noodles, sautéed mushrooms, haricot verts and two different salads, with some scrumptious cakes for dessert. Oh yea, and a great lineup of whites, reds, champers and ports!

If I had to guess the white standout was the Roulot, and for the red the Chave.
