First Panerai Advice

Good Morning All,

I have been playing with the thought of getting a Panerai for an extended period of time now. However, I always believed them to be too big for me. When the 38mm Model finally hit stores, I went to try it on, just to learn that that one wears way to small.

So I asked the associate to show me some 40, 42 and 44 Models. While I think the 40 and 42 Models suited my wrist more, I couldn't find them in the catalog anymore when looking online these few days.

Searching on Chrono, I found two options that suit my budget and liking. The 00111 and the 00112.

Now my question for you guys is, have some of you bought larger Panerai Models and regretted it? Have you fallen out of love for Panerai? Or have you maintained the love for these oversized watches.

To offer some perspective, I mostly wear 36mm and my largest watch is the Man on the Moon Speedmaster Professional.

Unfortunately I don't have any Pictures of the Panerais on my wrist, looking forward to hear what you got to say and maybe some Pics!

Thanks, Luka
