Rolex and Age Group (Fun Game)

This is not to be taken seriously. Wear whatever you want. It's just meant to be a fun game. Pick one Rolex watch for each age group and why.

10s- Vintage model. Anything else is going to send the wrong message. Saying it belonged to your grandpa sort of overcomes the negative stigma.

20s- Explorer II. You're young and want to disassociate with the norm. 42mm is bigger than most of the its Rolex brethren, while the pop of color says you are young while still having classic tastes.

30s- Submariner. You are calming down a bit but still youthful. Something classic and sporty fits you. It'll go with every outfit and you can't go wrong.

40s- Daytona. You've made it. You have a lot more disposable income. You are not content with the standard anymore and want to make a splash. You are still holding onto your youth and want to be sporty. The Daytona is just the exclusive, flashy, sports watch you need to match that nice sports car and house.

50s- Sky-Dweller. I'm not that old! This is the most advanced movement Rolex makes. It's exclusive but still has classic elements found in the Datejust. It's not the obvious Daytona but a talking piece. It's still big and bold, holding onto your youth.

60s- Day-Date "President". Ok, I'm old. I have the money to spend so now I'm going full on precious metal and no one can judge me. I swore I wouldn't buy grandpa's watch but now I am grandpa. It's part of my uniform and no one will question it.

70+- Datejust. Old and absolutely nothing to prove. It's the classic. I'll wear it everywhere and just forget it's even there.
