CHNR Owners - Input Appreciated
Hello fellow TRFers - I have a question for owners of the CHNR, specifically the two-tone variant:
I am heavily considering this watch, but have never seen it in person. Judging by the photos alone, it appears to me that this watch takes on two different looks depending on (I'm assuming) the lighting. I've provided pictures (not my own) below. In the first one (photo cred to TRF member, Mystro) it is in my estimation one of the most beautiful watches in the entire Rolex line. This appears to be taken under natural light, and everything about the color scheme looks spot on. However, the second photo leaves me less convinced. The rose gold just doesn't quite do it for me against the steel under this lighting, whereas in the first photo I find that the two metals compliment each other perfectly. I also like the look of the bezel a lot more in the first one compared to the second. So I guess my question is: In your ownership experience do you find the first picture to be more accurate in most settings, or the second? One of the most common expressions we see here on TRF is "pictures don't do it justice" especially when it comes to the CHNR. I would love to see one in person before making a decision, but I don't know when I'll get the chance, so I think reading some real ownership experiences would be a great start. As always I really appreciate your input, and the wealth of knowledge found in this community. Cheers! Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk |
