Lange Odysseus vs Vacheron Overseas

As I see more photos, I think I prefer the Odysseus. There's something of a tightrope that Lange has walked - it seems very modern but very classic; formal yet rugged. Suddenly makes all other sports watches seem a bit old-fashioned. I would much prefer a rubber strap, or better the VCO's easy-change system.

I do still really like the VCO but when I tried it on, it was too large.

Have a horrid feeling the Odysseus will be the same.

Large + thick just doesn't work with my 6" wrist - the only current sports watch that looks good is the Nautilus, and i put that down to the watch's curve, its thinness, the thick bezel and lack of depth of the integrated lugs. It wears much smaller than its 40mm would suggest.

Nobody will sell me a 5711 or 5712, though, so it's all academic.
