Hello everyone,
First of all, I'd like to thank you for this forum, where I have learnt and understood a lot from all of you and I'm glad to be part of this community. My first Rolex, back in 2012, was a 2nd hand Air-King 14000M. A couple of years later a GMT 116710LN joined, followed by a 2nd hand Yacht-Master 16622 a few years after. The Air King does not get any wrist time at all, given its size (34mm), but I've kept it for sentimental reasons... I periodically switch between the GMT and Yacht-Master, so both get enough wrist time. A few months ago, I decided to 'refresh' the GMT by getting a Rubber B strap. Best decision ever! I'm in the market for the 4th (3rd wearable) watch and I've decided to go for a blue dial. Moving away from sport watches, my next choice would be a blue DJ41, preferably smooth bezel on Jubilee. However, I have always been interested in IWC watches. I don't really care for chronograph watches and don't want anything beyond 40mm, so this really limits the IWC lineup. What caught my eye though, was the Portofino Automatic with a blue dial and rose gold plated hands and indices (IW356523), which also happens to be their absolute cheapest offering. Would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks! |
