Be aware...and a question
So a couple of weeks ago I got an email saying my TRF account had been suspended because someone posted an ad for a potentially fake sky dweller under my account. After jumping through some hoops, including having to pay $12 and send some personal information to Steve to verify that I was who I said I was, I was able to get the account reinstated.
I got a new password, and made sure it is long and complex. Now, for the last several days, I have gotten an email saying that someone is trying to log into my account, and has reached the maximum number of login attempts, and that the account is locked for 15 minutes. This has happened two or three different times now. It gives the IP address of the person trying to login, which is always the same. There’s no way they will ever guess my password, so I feel like the account is safe in that regard, however I wanted to ask: -anything else need to be done? -Is there a way to identify who the offending jerk-off is through the IP address? Just be careful i guess. Lots of dishonest dbags out there. Made sure my password is not pre-saved on my browser or that I don’t click on any links or emails that I don’t know(though I never did before either). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
