Worth an email?

This is more so aimed at UK members.

Obviously all of the UK ADs are currently closed due to the lockdown but there seems to be people still getting allocated watches.

There are a few watches I am still interested in picking up despite the current climate. Is it worth emailing a couple of ADs making them aware Im ready to purchase?

Just wanted to find out if anyone else has done this?

I don’t want to seem distasteful/insensitive in this current climate but if there is a greater chance of getting the watch I’ve had my eye on for a while I thought it may be worth a shot.
