Finally "getting" the appeal of the 5167

I remember reading about this watch a decade ago back when Timezone was still a happening forum with it's moderator trying to dub it "The wort". I must be getting older, because after borrowing a friends for a day, I must confess, I finally "get it". Plus the legibility compared to my daily Daytona was refreshingly nice.

Boy, this watch sure does make a SS Daytona at MSRP look like a bargain value wise. Now the challenging part, trying to find one after the world returns to normal!

I will also confess, I think the last one I saw must have been a fake because the details on how the numerals were done is really quite stunning and proportionate. The last one I held in my hand I don't think was a polished or crisp on the hour markers.
