Is It So Difficult to Buff the Back Side of The Lugs (Screw Driver Scratches)
Guys,
Just notice some minor screw driver scratches on the back side of the lugs of my GMT TT Rootbeer. I purchased it pre owned from my trusted dealer. Then brought the watch back to him and asked him to buff the back side of the lugs....He said he can do it but the process would destroy the brush pattern on the back of the watch....the pattern wouldn't be uniform again.... Then he said it is quite normal for a pre owned watch to have that kind of scratches.... Is it really that difficult to buff the back side of the lugs of a Rolex? Is it possible that somebody else could do the job? Anybody here has the experience of buffing the back side of the lugs of Rolex? Regards,
