DJ41 Bracelets
Hey all,
TL/DR: thoughts on a TT DJ41 on a SS oyster bracelet? And, will an AD sell me a bracelet by itself, as long as it is for a model that they currently offer a SS oyster with? I’ve got a wild idea I want to float around before following through. I’ve purchased both a 126333 and 116610 in the last couple weeks. I’ve really fallen in love with the TT DJ41 and I’m debating possibly getting rid of the sub and making the DJ my one sole watch. From that, I’ve started thinking of variations on the DJ. It’s currently on the TT jubilee which is the way I like it most. However, if it’s the one watch I go with for many years, I like the idea of having an oyster bracelet for certain occasions to give it a sportier look. Problem is, I don’t much care for the TT oyster bracelets and don’t think it would have much of a different effect vs the Jubilee in the same way the SS versions have vs each other. I.E., I think the TT oyster and jubilee don’t display the difference between ‘sporty’ and ‘dressy’ to the same extent that the SS bracelets do. It got me thinking, anybody put a SS oyster on a TT DJ? I have a white dial, and in my head, I’m picturing a really good look. An all SS oyster DJ, with the exception of just a YG flutes bezel. Anybody have thoughts on this, or pictures, etc? Brings me to next question; will a Rolex AD NEVER sell bracelet by itself? Or would they only NOT sell it if it’s not meant for the watch in question? If so, I still have my SS 126300 on jubilee that I’m trying to sell currently. I figure I could use that as the watch ‘I’m trying to put on the oyster.’ Thanks! Obligatory pics of said watches: |
