PM Rolex vs SS Trinity Pieces

I've been debating trading my YM42 for a SS AP RO but am torn. One is a step up the horological ladder with a finer movement, but the Rolex is PM with an arguably more robust movement. Any of you ever debate this, a PM for SS watch? I do love the YM, but have a 5711 and a VC Overseas so feel the RO is the missing link... I did fall in love with the YM after owning it though, surprisingly more than I thought I would. I'll probably keep the YM and buy a RO because I'm sick in the head. Just wanted others thoughts.
