No-lume early Oyster Date w/full-metal sword hands?
An acquaintance of mine says they came into a '63 dated Oyster Date with original dial, but service hands. They describe the hands as being the sword variety, but full metal with no lume, and they aren't dauphine - he's more of a noob than even I, but I can't see him bungling that.
Does that sound right to any vintage folks out there? I haven't gotten to see it or get a pic yet, but was curious (especially if anyone has an example) what this should look like - if it even exists, haha. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all! |
