First Timer’s Guide to Servicing!

Hi everyone —

Still pretty new here and happy to be part of the forum! I‘ve picked up a couple of pieces in the last half year, but I’m also about to have a watch I inherited serviced—it’s a GMT Master I.

For someone who isn’t super familiar with the servicing options, I’m curious what the options are (if any?), and what the recommendations are — e.g., polished/unpolished.

I’m also thinking of asking RSC to see if I can have the bezel insert replaced to the original version — mine is on the bottom right, whereas the original insert was the bottom left. Is that something RSC can do?
