Sub going to the shop: How much insurance? (pic)

For how much do you think I should insure my old Sub? She's going to the shop in Chicago. Talked to the watchmaker at the Repair Center there and he's aces!

Note that the bracelet is not going with it: that's on its way to Hongkong and was insured for $800, along with another jube (probably a little low now that I think of it).

Thanks for any advice. I don't think postal insurance -- although a ripoff IMO by normal insurance standards -- is THAT expensive.

Going to put her in the mail in ~ three hours when I get out of this laugh factory!

Very respectfully / Warm regards,

LT Sub M. Datejust, USN
