No AD in my country, but I took the plunge anyway...

Okay, alright. It isn't like I was waiting for an special announcements from Rolex yesterday; after all, I am well aware of how low my chances are with getting a watch (case in point -- I tried to buy a DJ31 for my wife, but was told to spend some money buying other watches, to get onto the wait list).

Anyway, after many months of just looking and not taking action... I decided to take the plunge and bought an Elegante 48. This is certainly not the norm for me (I never buy from a grey dealer), but considering the nearest F.P. Journe boutique is in Hong Kong (a 4 hour flight away) and the closest AD is in Singapore (a 4 hour road trip to a different country), I didn't have that many options. And in the time spent waiting and trying to get on the list, I watched as prices kept creeping up.

Quick check: are there other Elegante 48 owners in here? How do I go about changing the strap? Does anyone have a step-by-step video on how to properly remove the strap from head (I have done it, but I could be more careful)? Also, while I have a spare strap, I do not have the right flathead driver to remove the deployant from the strap it is currently mounted on.

If anyone could share some resources and/or information, I would greatly appreciate that!
