Results: Watch size x Wrist circumference
Greetings all. Yesterday I posted a pair of polls targeting those who have a strong preference for certain case size ranges in their watches. I am interested in the wrist size "demographics" of those who prefer modern vs classic sized watches. If you haven't already done so, please add your data (if applicable) to the respective poll below:
If you strongly prefer "modern" case sizing (think 39 mm OP or DD40 for non-sport watches, and 42+ mm sport watches like Explorer II or DSSD): https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=799309 If you strongly prefer "classic" case sizing (think 36 mm OP or DD36 for non-sport watches, and 39-40 mm sport watches like 5-digit Subs or the BB58): https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=799310 The preliminary data shows the highest response rate for both case-size preference cohorts are TRF members with wrist circumference 6.5-.6.9 in. This was interesting, especially for those who preferred modern case sizes. I expected to see more respondents with larger wrists preferring the larger cases -- perhaps those members haven't voted yet? Also, it was interesting to see that a decent number of TRF members with wrist sizes 7.0 in or greater preferred classic cases. Keep the data coming everyone -- much appreciated! |
