Just in 1661

Panerai Carbotech was always on my mind but was unsure of the material , unsure of 44mm size as I have the 42mm Sub. However when 1661 was launched , I just wanted it regardless of my above concerns and of all the brands I have Panerai is something you can't acquire with a rational mind :)

So this just landed! Initial thoughts the material feels silkly smooth and really touch friendly. Super light weight which eased my apprehension of 44mm size , the lugs do over hang my small wrists but don't care about it , hey its a Pam.

The dial is so sexy and so unique even for Panerais. I think it will look even better with my custom straps which are on the way and more photos will be uploaded.

The movement , well I was hoping for the hacking seconds but mine is the non-hacking updated version , not a deal breaker but still clueless whether is it really an update or downgrade. Do note that it is noisy compared to my gold sub , probably it's due to carbon case.

Cheers
