Would you rock this as a daily beater?

My current daily is a DJ41 Blue stick dial/fluted bezel/jubilee bracelet.

I have been thiking about getting a less flashy watch, one where I don't have to worry about picking up scratches too much. Yes, i guess I would classify myself as one of those Rolex owners where the watch wears the owner, not the other way around.

Since many people love their GShock watches, I started shopping there and ran across a video that featured this watch. Here on the Gshock website:

Yeah it's kinda flashy, and at 1700 bucks not exactly cheap for a digital watch, but I love the fact that it's titanium and the different colors on the band look cool. And yeah, lots of polished surfaces which no doubt will attract scratches. This is actually a titanium alloy that's harder than just titanium which enables it to be polished to a mirror finish.

I gotta find one one of these and check it out in real life.

Would you rock this thing as a daily, and would you pay 1700 dollars for a Casio??

All opinions welcome!
